The ball had pretty good speed, but Anier Balendin firmly grabbed it by the left post. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by BAC Belgrano de Cba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horacio Lia was slow to take the kick. During this time Bahía é Carnaval's players had a chance to rest. After 16 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Jakes. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Igor Cordara got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bahía é Carnaval's zone, Braulio Peru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Romeri came out of the goal and Braulio Peru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Anier Balendin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Cambranes. Florencio Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Alonzo Delfino got a free kick in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Florencio Librado put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sergio Romeri. If Florencio Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Cambranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
