Froilan Llorian was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fulgencio Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evelio Orlin's late challenge caught a Almeyra F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Orlin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Evelio Orlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Abecia in the 17th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Rene Bermund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Cecilio Rioja got a free kick in the 19th minute. Froilan Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Abecia in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Xabat came free, but Rene Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Natal. Gerardo Etxepare hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Celedonio Xabat scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Bermund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cecilio Rioja charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Rioja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Almeyra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Rioja to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Lain in the 33rd minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Froilan Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celedonio Xabat during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Froilan Llorian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Asur. Rene Bermund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Xabat in the 38th minute of the match. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Rene Bermund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC from getting a goal against them. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Rene Bermund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Abecia in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Lain made a kick off. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Evelio Orlin hit a great ball. Paulino Lain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Froilan Llorian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Rene Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rene Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Natal in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Almeyra F.C.'s Omar Abecia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Bermund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Rene Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Almeyra F.C.'s Celedonio Xabat made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Bermund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 90 played minutes Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Etxepare. Celedonio Xabat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Gerardo Etxepare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almeyra F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Etxepare didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Celedonio Xabat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almeyra F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Xabat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Bermund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Almeyra F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
