The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Urbano Beliran fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Urbano Beliran a yellow card for diving instead. Urbano Beliran kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The AZURDUY F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when AZURDUY F.C.'s Rogelio Gombal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Haroldo Lleir fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Momias F. C.'s protests and gave Haroldo Lleir a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Haroldo Lleir got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Tarragon in the 16th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Raul Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Hitzeder hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 毛平银 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Chuan in the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Chuan in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 毛平银 saved Las Momias F. C. from getting behind. 毛平银 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Chuan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute AZURDUY F.C. were awarded a corner. Gonzalo Pudes went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Arsenio Llorenc got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Lleir was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Tarragon in the 57th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Raul Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Haroldo Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Tarragon came free, but Raul Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, AZURDUY F.C.'s 毛平银 threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rogelio Gombal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute, Cristian Tarragon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Martinez. With an all-out effort, AZURDUY F.C.'s 毛平银 threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rogelio Gombal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raul Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Lleir in the 82nd minute of play. AZURDUY F.C.'s Gonzalo Pudes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by 毛平银 but with some difficulty. 92 minutes into the match, Cristian Tarragon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AZURDUY F.C.'s Raul Santxol. Raul Santxol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raul Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Lleir, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Las Momias F. C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
