Juan Perrando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Magdaleno got free with Zeledon Markel in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Ignacio Cianci in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Perrando saved NUMBA from getting behind. Candido Unax in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zeledon Markel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Candido Unax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Zeledon Markel made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goalkeeper Zeledon Markel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Gilabert. In the last second Zeledon Markel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Candido Unax in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Unax in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Markel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Lázaro Eyague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Americo Gilabert came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the NUMBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Gilabert couldn't finish the play. The supporters of C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA booed when NUMBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Ignacio Cianci to make the kick off. Zeledon Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Unax in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Americo Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Juan Perrando managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Juan Ignacio Cianci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
