Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Potencial Desperdiciado F's Einar Sävström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ariel Tximitx was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Iraido Treviño capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iraido Treviño really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Iraido Treviño succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 8th playminute. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Anier Errapel got a free kick in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Ganix got free with Ariel Tximitx in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iraido Treviño came free, but Ariel Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Tximitx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Potencial Desperdiciado F's zone, Valentín Barco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Proca came out of the goal and Valentín Barco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Herena in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radu Proca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clemente Herena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Proca having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Iraido Treviño ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ariel Tximitx. Ariel Tximitx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iraido Treviño in the 39th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Ariel Tximitx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Aarón Anselmino got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's Ariel Tximitx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraido Treviño in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Herena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvio Quinteros's late challenge caught a Potencial Desperdiciado F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Quinteros helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 51 minutes, Einar Sävström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potencial Desperdiciado F's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Sävström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ariel Tximitx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iraido Treviño, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Aarón Anselmino. In the 68th minute Clemente Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Proca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Proca came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Abuba Akotonon FC's Clemente Herena. But to his dismay, Clemente Herena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ariel Tximitx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iraido Treviño, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Herena in the 73rd minute of play forced Potencial Desperdiciado F's goalkeeper Radu Proca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Proca made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Clemente Herena sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Ursino in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radu Proca saved Potencial Desperdiciado F from getting behind. Radu Proca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Herena, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With 83 minutes on the clock, Silvio Quinteros commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Abuba Akotonon FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Ariel Tximitx had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Hugo Ganix's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's Edinson Cavani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radu Proca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Angelo Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes, Abuba Akotonon FC's Gaspar Selmo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radu Proca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abuba Akotonon FC reached it. Hugo Ganix was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Potencial Desperdiciado F's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
