Zeledon Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Figueroa in the 9th minute of the match. Joel Mingo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Ignacio Cianci showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Ullún's Fernando Clis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ullún's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Markel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Clis, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Guillermo Barros Schelotto took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Mingo. Joel Mingo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 42 minutes into the game, Juan Ignacio Cianci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ullún the free kick. Juan Ignacio Cianci kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Ullún getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Zeledon Cutberto hit a great ball.

C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Arnoldo Otsoa was substituted for Guillermo Barros Schelotto. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Clis to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Ullún's Zeledon Markel threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Clis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Zeledon Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Clis in the 65th minute of play. Zeledon Markel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Clis's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Ullún's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fidel Gutxi in the 67th minute. The corner led Ullún's Fidel Gutxi to fire away a dangerous shot which Zeledon Markel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 68th minute, Bernard Pozorski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 69 minutes, Fidel Gutxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ullún's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Gutxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Teofilo Quintyn sped through Ullún's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joel Mingo. Inocencio Urritz charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inocencio Urritz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes, Ullún's Fidel Gutxi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeledon Markel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ullún reached it. 85 minutes into the match, Ullún's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Quintyn came free, but Joel Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Gutxi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
