The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastián Izquierdo got free with Filomeno Rioja in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Christian Izquierdo got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Daniel Cetino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo. Martín Izquierdo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Martin Palermo F.C.'s zone, Fabian Gudesteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martín Izquierdo came out of the goal and Fabian Gudesteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martín Izquierdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Peru, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Isaac Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martín Izquierdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cetino in the 43rd minute of play. Filomeno Rioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Perrando in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Daniel Cetino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martín Izquierdo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fabian Gudesteo made the kick off in the second half. Cesar Primo charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Primo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute Sebastián Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Rioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martín Izquierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Peru in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Christian Izquierdo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Club Floresta Manda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Gudesteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Rioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Izquierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Cetino 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. In the 93rd minute Sebastián Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Rioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Martin Palermo F.C. from getting a goal against them.
