An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Ignazio in the 3rd minute of play forced Scofield's goalkeeper Fabian Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Juan Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Sidoro. Nueva Bodega's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fabian Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Joachim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Scofield booed when Nueva Bodega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ambrosio Ignazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Joachim kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Nueva Bodega's Ambrosio Ignazio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Pello narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
