Mateo Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Gabrio having to interfere. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chamaicó's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alan Velasco was slow to take the kick. During this time Curumalán AFC's players had a chance to rest. In the 13th minute, Gabriel Avalos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roberto Pirro. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of Chamaicó booed when Curumalán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Breogan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Alan Velasco took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Roberto Pirro to make any attempt to save it. Mateo Serapio kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Diego Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curumalán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Chorche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Curumalán AFC's Diego Chorche shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Roberto Pirro but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Breogan in the 34th minute of play forced Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Pirro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Avalos in the 36th minute of the match. Gabriel Avalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, Chamaicó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Manuel Blanco to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Curumalán AFC's Gabriel Avalos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Pirro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Chamaicó defense, Gabriel Avalos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Pirro. The Chamaicó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Pirro should have stopped the shot. Roberto Pirro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernán Losada went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After 69 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hernán Losada. Roberto Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Avalos in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chamaicó's Teo Romero got a free kick in the 77th minute. Roberto Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Avalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Chamaicó's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Chorche came free, but Roberto Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
