Fermin Frichoso's late challenge caught a Salmuera CP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Frichoso helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Frichoso. Gavino Olo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Paulino Orixe sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Urti in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Vela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Urti in the 13th minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Eloy Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Higinio Urti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Orixe came free, but Gavino Olo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Salmuera CP booed when Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Urti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Orixe got free with Gavino Olo in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Salmuera CP's Paulino Orixe in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Margarita's goalie prevented a goal. Salmuera CP's Eloy Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Jánosi in the 27th minute of play. Salmuera CP's Paulino Orixe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Margarita. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Orixe in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Olo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute Paulino Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Olo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Orixe in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Olo saved Margarita from getting behind. Gavino Olo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Orixe in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Paulino Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Olo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Urti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Eloy Vela made a huge save. Gavino Olo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Orixe in the 89th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Orixe in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Olo saved Margarita from getting behind. Salmuera CP's Paulino Orixe managed to work through Margarita's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Paulino Orixe dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
