In the 43rd match minute, Municipales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Oroveanu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Paulino Orixe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salmuera CP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Orixe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fidel Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Teodosio Bento was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Fidel Mouricio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fidel Mouricio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Estefan in the 57th minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Eloy Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Municipales FC's Esteban Mark in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Salmuera CP defense, Americo Perpinya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Vela. The Salmuera CP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Vela should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Municipales FC had played much better football throughout.
