Gustavo Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Bernabel in the 9th minute of play. After 9 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Schmidt. After 10 played minutes, Los Podridos ll's Vladimiro Gurutz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo Eusko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Podridos ll reached it. Gustavo Eusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Pancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Remigio Bernabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Eusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Los Podridos ll got a corner. El Millo de Haedo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vladimiro Gurutz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 22 minutes, Jorge Olguín mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Millo de Haedo and the Los Podridos ll players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Olguín kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, El Millo de Haedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Olguín to maneuver through the defense. The El Millo de Haedo fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when El Millo de Haedo's Jorge Olguín looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. El Millo de Haedo's Gustavo Eusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Redouane Ledig in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Pancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Eusko was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Jorge Olguíns short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Berkan Birsoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 45 minutes of play El Millo de Haedo's Jorge Olguín was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, El Millo de Haedo's Jorge Olguín got a free kick in the 46th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Pancho made a kick off. El Millo de Haedo's Gustavo Eusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Bernabel in the 51st minute of play. Berkan Birsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Eguzki in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Pancho in the 56th minute of play forced El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Gustavo Eusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Millo de Haedo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Remigio Bernabel scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Eusko, making the score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Bernabel got free with Gustavo Eusko in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Lázaro Oto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Bernabel in the 76th minute of play forced El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Gustavo Eusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Azubeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Berkan Birsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Pancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Eusko having to interfere. Berkan Birsoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Azubeli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berkan Birsoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Los Podridos ll's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
