Bernardo Justins short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Leon Oliverio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Blas Min fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Bobo y El Bocho's protests and gave Blas Min a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, El Bobo y El Bocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Min to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the game, Abelardo Intxixu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Bobo y El Bocho the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taci Argün in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandu Magherescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 played minutes El Bobo y El Bocho got a freekick which was hit by Elias Ireno. In the 16th minute, Abelardo Intxixu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Intxixu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Justin in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Leon Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, El Bobo y El Bocho's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Intxixu came free, but Sandu Magherescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Justin in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Leon Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite this Leon Oliverio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 47th minute Taci Argün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Magherescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taci Argün stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Cordeal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Braulio Breogan's late challenge caught a El Bobo y El Bocho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Breogan helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Magallanes! 54 minutes into the match, Humberto Martxel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atlético Magallanes's Leon Oliverio. Leon Oliverio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute, Bernardo Justin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Oliverio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Leon Oliverio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Ireno went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Magallanes defense, Bernardo Justin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Oliverio. The Club Atlético Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Oliverio should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute El Bobo y El Bocho were awarded a corner. Humberto Martxel went to the cornerflag to take it. Elias Ireno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Oliverio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Leon Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Ireno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute of the match Club Atlético Magallanes got a corner. El Bobo y El Bocho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manoel Barros ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Bernardo Justin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Bobo y El Bocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Justin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atlético Magallanes's Leon Oliverio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Justin in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Bobo y El Bocho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manoel Barros was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Magallanes's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Magallanes's corner Manoel Barros fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sandu Magherescu quite easily take care of the ball. Abelardo Intxixu kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Bernardo Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
