Angel Comizzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 15 played minutes Orozcos got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Pes. A collision led to Orozcos getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ladislao Belarmo hit a great ball. Marcelino Afonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Afonso ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Havier came free, but Angel Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Godoy charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Godoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Orozcos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Godoy to maneuver through the defense. Angel Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Havier, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Godoy in the 37th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Godoy got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Orozcos's Sergio Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Orozcos from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the RIVER defense, Feliciano Havier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Comizzo. The RIVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Comizzo should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Orozcos's Harri Kane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Comizzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute Orozcos were awarded a corner. Feliciano Havier went to the cornerflag to take it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Medina Bello was the one to do the kick off. Angel Comizzo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Orozcos's Harri Kane shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Orozcos booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Harri Kane made a precise shot to the right of Angel Comizzo. RIVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Orozcos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
