The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, La France FC's goalkeeper Rolando Mitxel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Rey. In the 8th minute, Severo Ado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Dani Amato managed to get in a good position for a shot. La France FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dani Amato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Comizzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Medina Bello. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Medina Bello in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Mitxel saved La France FC from getting behind. A collision led to La France FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Esequiel Barco hit a great ball. Angel Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. La France FC's Rolando Mitxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Medina Bello in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Esequiel Barco came free, but Angel Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Mitxel made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Pascual Austin sent off a good shot on target. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esequiel Barco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Peru in the 41st minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Severo Ado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee ignored La France FC's protests and gave Lino Beat a yellow card for diving instead. Angel Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esequiel Barco, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esequiel Barco got free with Angel Comizzo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute Severo Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ismael Medina Bello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Mitxel was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Rolando Mitxel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Txordon went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. RIVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The RIVER supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La France FC's performance. The match ended with a win for La France FC.
