Eliseo Thomas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Candido Gudesteo made a huge save. Jonathan Atarrabi might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Gudesteo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Atarrabi ran back to his position shaking his head. Yaji FC's Candido Gudesteo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Yaji FC from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Eulalio Indalecio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Yaji FC's Candido Gudesteo. Candido Gudesteo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the game, Berni y Benja FC's Eulalio Indalecio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Candido Gudesteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Jonathan Atarrabi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Candido Gudesteo. Jonathan Atarrabi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Danilo Christobal's late challenge caught a Berni y Benja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Christobal helped the player get up and apologised. Danilo Christobal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Amado Cortez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Atarrabi struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Candido Gudesteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berni y Benja FC. Yaji FC's Candido Gudesteo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Yaji FC from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute Erasmo Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Berni y Benja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Candido Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Indalecio in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Salvador Oxarra hit a great ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Berni y Benja FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salvador Oxarra was slow to take the kick. During this time Yaji FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 42nd minute, Danilo Christobal made a precise shot to the right of Isaac Ibon. Berni y Benja FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Isaac Ibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Jenaro in the 45th minute of the match.
The wind increased when Erasmo Blasi made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Thomas in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Gudesteo saved Yaji FC from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Thomas came free, but Candido Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Nunez Danel got a free kick in the 60th minute. Candido Gudesteo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Indalecio went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Berni y Benja FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jonathan Atarrabi hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Yaji FC defense, Eliseo Thomas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Gudesteo. The Yaji FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Gudesteo should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Cortez during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amado Cortez hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jonathan Atarrabi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Salvador Oxarra, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Blasi got free with Isaac Ibon in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rogelio Jenaro came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Yaji FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Jenaro couldn't finish the play. Candido Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Thomas in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Eulalio Indalecio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berni y Benja FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Salvador Oxarra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
