Vicente Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Fernanco in the 10th minute of the match. Hermengildo Aresti made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Eustacio Inko sent off a good shot on target. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Confesor made a kick off. Vicente Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Bilbo in the 54th minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Benedicto Tonete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Pergamino's Hermengildo Aresti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Ipar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Nordby's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Benedicto Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Kiliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hermengildo Aresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Pergamino's Eustaquio Laffitte was substituted for Felipe Sidro.
