The tension between the La Naranja Mecánica and the El retorno del Pincha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes La Naranja Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by Roman Zamudio. Roy Peto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Apolo Isusko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 33 minute of play. La Naranja Mecánica's Anthony Volpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Theodore in the 36th minute of play. Arnaldo Papo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roy Peto. Anthony Volpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Theodore in the 74th minute of play. When Apolo Isusko came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the La Naranja Mecánica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Isusko couldn't finish the play. Jairo Theodore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Anthony Volpe made a huge save. After 96 played minutes El retorno del Pincha got a freekick which was hit by Luis Silviano. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El retorno del Pincha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
