EL REY DE LA CARNE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Theodore ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 19thth minute of the game Adrian Txanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El retorno del Pincha's Roy Peto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baltasar Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Raulo in the 23rd minute of the match. Baltasar Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Theodore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Baltasar Santana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Raulo got free with Baltasar Santana in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on El retorno del Pincha's corner Santos Poncio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baltasar Santana quite easily take care of the ball. Victorio Libertad hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
