Abelardo Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Liu Rong Bin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Meša Capablanca's late challenge caught a La Vuelta del Malon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Meša Capablanca helped the player get up and apologised. La Vuelta del Malon's Clodoveo Eutor was substituted for Liu Rong Bin. After having played for 10 minutes, Stoyo Abazov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Vuelta del Malon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stoyo Abazov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Germán Casado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Vuelta del Malon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavallino Rampante II the free kick. Germán Casado hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Cavallino Rampante II's Abelardo Erlantz threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Haroldo Caradaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Silvio Ortzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Hajduk in the 14th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, La Vuelta del Malon's Krzysztof Hajduk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Ortzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, La Vuelta del Malon's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Caradaro came free, but Abelardo Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, La Vuelta del Malon's Stoyo Abazov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Ortzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Abelardo Erlantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Caradaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Cavallino Rampante II's Eugenio Silban got a free kick in the 26th minute. Julio Duarte struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Silvio Ortzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Vuelta del Malon. In the 32nd minute Nestor Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stoyo Abazov in the 33rd minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Silvio Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Stoyo Abazov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavallino Rampante II's Silvio Ortzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to La Vuelta del Malon getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Julio Duarte hit a great ball. During the 37th minute of the match Meša Capablanca completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Meša Capablanca a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Meša Capablanca kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Silvio Ortzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stoyo Abazov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Izotz in the 51st minute of play forced La Vuelta del Malon's goalkeeper Abelardo Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, La Vuelta del Malon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Casado to maneuver through the defense. When Jairo Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cavallino Rampante II fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Izotz couldn't finish the play. If Julio Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavallino Rampante II's Silvio Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Duarte in the 65th minute of play. Gustavo Erruki charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Erruki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvio Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Hajduk in the 70th minute of play. Cavallino Rampante II's Artie Newton was substituted for Jairo Izotz. 79 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Duarte came free, but Silvio Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Cavallino Rampante II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Lapurdi to maneuver through the defense. Cavallino Rampante II's Silvio Ortzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cavallino Rampante II from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Nestor Beltza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvio Ortzi. The goal made the score 0-3. 91 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Silvio Ortzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stoyo Abazov. Abelardo Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artie Newton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute of the match Cavallino Rampante II got a corner. La Vuelta del Malon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejandro Cebrian ran over to the corner to take the kick. Silvio Ortzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stoyo Abazov in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded La Vuelta del Malon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cavallino Rampante II.
