If Isaias Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Defensores del Albinegro booed when Majadita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Majadita FC's Daniel Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Jerano in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute, Luciano Jerano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores del Albinegro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th match minute, Defensores del Albinegro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Diagur to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Jerano's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Defensores del Albinegro's Cornelio Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Lopes in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Majadita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Jerano came free, but Daniel Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Merexildo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mateo Abechuco. The Majadita FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Defensores del Albinegro were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Jerano was the one to do the kick off. Defensores del Albinegro's Luciano Jerano got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute Luciano Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Luciano Jerano made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Benvido. Majadita FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 89th match minute, Majadita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Rioja to maneuver through the defense. Elias Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Defensores del Albinegro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
