Isidro Gregory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnino Dalmai hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Bernardino Odon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martinez Maravilha. Jarana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Odon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Adan Tabor charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Tabor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 23 minutes into the game, one of Grütly:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Isidro Gregory had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Wilfredo Gitano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 26 minutes, Aurelio Harriet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jarana FC and the Grütly players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Gitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Gregory was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Dalmai during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilfredo Gitano might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidro Gregory. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Gitano ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilfredo Gitano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Isidro Gregory firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Wilfredo Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilfredo Gitano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidro Gregory. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Abel Polo made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Wilfredo Gitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidro Gregory was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Grütly's Isidro Gregory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute Wilfredo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Gregory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Harriet scored 7-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidro Gregory, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Bernardino Odon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martinez Maravilha. Jarana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Odon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-3. Wilfredo Gitano struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Isidro Gregory didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarana FC. After 95 played minutes Jarana FC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Christobal.
