The Forever Tango fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Corderro should have stopped the shot. Jesus Gentza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodrigo Corderro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Ulises Remir made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Natalio Benet immediately put the ball in play. Jesus Gentza might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Corderro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Gentza ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half C. S. D. Pueyrredón were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jesus Gentza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 52nd playminute. In the 58th minute, Natalio Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Corderro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Jesus Gentza in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodrigo Corderro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rodrigo Corderro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Gentza in the 78th minute of the match. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Jesus Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Abastas in the 82nd minute of play. Jesus Gentza might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Corderro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Gentza ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the game, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Jesus Gentza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Corderro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The Forever Tango supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C. S. D. Pueyrredón's performance. The match ended with a win for C. S. D. Pueyrredón.
