In the 3rd minute Teodosio Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Laurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Licerio in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes La Candela FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Desta Roy who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Desta Roy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Candela FC's Emanuel Laurin did a great save. Raul Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Batistuta in the 13th minute of the match. Arnoldo Licerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Emanuel Laurin made a huge save. Raul Isias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Laurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Licerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Frans in the 40th minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Raul Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Laurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Licerio in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

La Candela FC's Ademar Castro was substituted for Teodosio Frans. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnoldo Licerio to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Gabi Batistuta from a close distance when the talented Raul Isias managed to make a qualified save. PINGO PINGO's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnoldo Licerio in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Laurin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Licerio in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Laurin saved La Candela FC from getting behind. Arnoldo Licerio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Laurin having to make a save. Raul Isias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Mascherano in the 74th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Laurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes PINGO PINGO got a freekick which was hit by António Frankenhaeuser. La Candela FC's Jeremias Bide was substituted for Alcides Silveira. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when PINGO PINGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Frankenhaeuser didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Candela FC's Emanuel Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Licerio in the 83rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Castro came free, but Raul Isias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
