An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Isusko in the 14th minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Cayetano Perutxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes the xeneise dream team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benedicto Lauro who took care of the corner kick. Tabossi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benedicto Lauro in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Ramiro Isusko got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Tadeo Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Procopio in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Isusko came free, but Cayetano Perutxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Indalecio in the 31st minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Eneas. 44 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Procopio came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Eneas to strike the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Perutxo made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Ramiro Isusko sent off a good shot on target. In the 52nd match minute, the xeneise dream team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Aresti to maneuver through the defense. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Petrigai in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Tabossi getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fabio Ferman hit a great ball. Celestino Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nery Pumpido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tabossi made a substitution. Rolando Botello replaced Tadeo Eneas. Tabossi's Armando Bondi was substituted for Ramiro Isusko. After having played for 70 minutes, Anselmo Indalecio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. the xeneise dream team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Indalecio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Cayetano Perutxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Botello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Petrigai in the 77th minute of play forced Tabossi's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Botello got free with Cayetano Perutxo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 played minutes the xeneise dream team got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Indalecio. The Tabossi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
