After 2 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Medina. Enzo Silviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Cernea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Batistuta in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Enzo FC's zone, Gabi Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Fidele came out of the goal and Gabi Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Lucrețiu Cernea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Silviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Enzo FC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Lancia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Cernea in the 20th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Enzo Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Jarno Pijps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Candela FC's Cai Bing Cheng couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Enzo FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Cernea in the 27th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Enzo Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo FC's Salvador Fidele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Enzo FC from getting a goal against them. Salvador Fidele made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gabi Batistuta sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademar Castro in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Fidele saved Enzo FC from getting behind. In the 35thth minute of the game Lucrețiu Cernea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Candela FC's Enzo Silviano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enzo FC's Salvador Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Castro in the 37th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ademar Castro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salvador Fidele. That made the score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. A hard shot 44 in the game by Gabi Batistuta from a close distance when the talented Salvador Fidele managed to make a qualified save. Enzo FC's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabi Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. Salvador Fidele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Batistuta in the 50th minute of the match. Teofilo Elorri charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Elorri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 54 minutes into the match, Enzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Batistuta came free, but Salvador Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Enzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Ponce came free, but Salvador Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A wasted opportunity for La Candela FC. 91 minutes into the match, Enzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Frans came free, but Salvador Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Candela FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
