The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Mingo was the one to do the kick off. Vladimiro Jerold received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Vassenius came out and tried to block the shot, but Vladimiro Jerold slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 61st minute. After 64 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Mikolas. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Jerold in the 66th minute of play. Juan Sorin made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Guaberto Bibiano immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the RB Chubut defense, Vladimiro Jerold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Vassenius. The RB Chubut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Vassenius should have stopped the shot. Robert Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Abellan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Jerold in the 95th minute of the match. The RB Chubut supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Gallos's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Gallos.
