Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) MORPH's Alfredo Madeo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustavo-Hernán Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Semeno in the 3rd minute of play. Gustavo-Hernán Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Ruy's late challenge caught a MORPH's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Ruy helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Emilio Ruy got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 11 minutes, Silverio Semeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paunero and the MORPH players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Semeno to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo-Hernán Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Paunero's Modesto Theodore got control of the ball when Mauro Tomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo-Hernán Armani came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Paunero's Alonzo Gervaso. But to his dismay, Alonzo Gervaso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Paunero booed when MORPH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everardo Dodorol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo-Hernán Armani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. MORPH's Gustavo-Hernán Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Mel in the 31st minute of play. Gustavo-Hernán Armani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cecilio Mel went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Semeno in the 35th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Gustavo-Hernán Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Gervaso came free, but Gustavo-Hernán Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Mel took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo-Hernán Armani. Gustavo-Hernán Armani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 76th minute, Paunero's Fermin Neto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fermin Neto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Paunero protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fermin Neto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Mauro Tomi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Haritz struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gustavo-Hernán Armani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paunero. Modesto Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
