In the 11th minute, Hugo Moralez made a precise shot to the right of Robert Vassenius. RB Chubut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th minute Sebastián Rambert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Anselmino was slow to take the kick. During this time RB Chubut's players had a chance to rest. Aaron Anselmino made a great header on RB Chubut's corner, it was just that Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Aurelio Ramond managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 24thth minute of the game Isaac Mingo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Aurelio Ramond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Valiente in the 26th minute of play. Isaac Mingo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Ramond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Robert Vassenius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Moralez went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Crottos Crotters F.C.'s zone, Isaac Mingo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Ramond came out of the goal and Isaac Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Aaron Anselmino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Mingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Ramond having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Moralez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Rambert in the 51st minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Robert Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Aurelio Ramond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Aurelio Ramond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Mingo in the 59th minute of play. Gabríel Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Ramond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Hugo Moralez came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Robert Vassenius could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Mingo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Ramond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Humberto Rojelio lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Jacinto Sazon was substituted for Eriberto Espiridion. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Crottos Crotters F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RB Chubut:s goal. Aurelio Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabríel Batistuta in the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Isaac Mingo made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Aurelio Ramond tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Aurelio Ramond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabríel Batistuta in the 91st minute of play. If Isaac Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crottos Crotters F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing RB Chubut to leave the ground with a draw.
