An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Falcão in the 13th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Emanuel Harri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Betadur made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Mauro Tomi sent off a good shot on target. If Betinho Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Mauro Tomi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fabio Betadur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

With an all-out effort, LA DEL MONO's Emanuel Harri threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Betinho Falcão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Tomi in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Betadur saved LA DEL MONO from getting behind. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for LA DEL MONO. Eugenio Truylos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emanuel Harri. 1-1. Emanuel Harri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Falcão in the 62nd minute of play.
