With 83 minutes on the clock, Rodrigo Macario commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Paunero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Javiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Leo Izotz fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laurita FC's protests and gave Leo Izotz a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Laurita FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Izotz. After 92 played minutes, Paunero's Everardo Dodorol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clodoveo Delfino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paunero reached it. The supporters of Paunero booed when Laurita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Oinatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Ruy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clodoveo Delfino. Laurita FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Laurita FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Laurita FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
