The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Anier Tolino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Quebrachitos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Anier Tolino. The Quebrachitos FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Quebrachitos FC's Marcell Pécsi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Juan Seme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcell Pécsi's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Marcell Pécsi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Seme was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Juan Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcell Pécsi in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Quebrachitos FC booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Juan Seme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Quebrachitos FC's Marcell Pécsi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Seme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Quebrachitos FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eurelijus Sutkus was the one to do the kick off. Eurelijus Sutkus struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Kire Irving didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. In the 53rd minute, Tadeu Pombal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Racing Club's Juan Seme didn't even have to move. Ezequiel Blasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Juan Seme made a huge save. Juan Seme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcell Pécsi in the 61st minute of play. Marcell Pécsi struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Marcell Pécsi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Juan Seme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Marcell Pécsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Seme came out of the goal and Marcell Pécsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Kire Irving, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos FC's Celso Ayala got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Eurelijus Sutkus notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Quebrachitos FC's Kire Irving. Kire Irving was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan Seme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcell Pécsi's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After 91 minutes, Marcell Pécsi made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Racing Club's Juan Seme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorenzo Raymond made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Quebrachitos FC's Octavio Ortzi. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Quebrachitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Ortzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Elia didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
