In the 12thth minute of the game Mónico Geller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cura del Futbol's Haakon á Borg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Haakon á Borg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pablo Solari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Oscar Passet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's Jörn Helström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Passet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mónico Geller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Haakon á Borg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jörn Helström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Passet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Oscar Passet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cura del Futbol players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Lorenzo de Sarandi.
