Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Bernardo Ignatius got a free kick in the 11th minute. Justo Estefan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pa-Dembo Dolar. 13 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Jaszcz came free, but Justo Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Formentera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pa-Dembo Dolar was slow to take the kick. During this time Metapalo FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pa-Dembo Dolar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Formentera's Justo Estefan did a great save. Metapalo FC's Pa-Dembo Dolar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Justo Estefan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Rafe got free with Justo Estefan in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Formentera's 龙建烨 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akşemseddin Taran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Metapalo FC's Tytus Jaszcz in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Formentera's goalie prevented a goal. Formentera's Justo Estefan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Formentera from getting a goal against them. Justo Estefan came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Metapalo FC's Tytus Jaszcz. But to his dismay, Tytus Jaszcz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龙建烨 in the 34th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Akşemseddin Taran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Formentera's Justo Estefan got control of the ball when Dante Rafe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Estefan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Lekubegi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Domingo Beltza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metapalo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Beltza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Estefan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Erik Lönn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Christian Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Lönn came free, but Akşemseddin Taran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metapalo FC were furious when Leif Broman was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Metapalo FC! After a rather tough play, Formentera's Justino Hondo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Akşemseddin Taran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Lönn in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Lekubegi in the 84th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Justo Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akşemseddin Taran made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Fausto Ronconi sent off a good shot on target. Domingo Beltza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Celedonio Rafe hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Christian Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Estefan having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Akşemseddin Taran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 97th minute, Justino Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Formentera's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
