Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patricio Tamajon started the match with the kick off. Equipo's Orlando Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Tamajon in the 9th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Ermengol Cabrales made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Leoiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 26 minutes of play, Equipo's Florentino Eufemio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sagrario Paniagua was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Equipo booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermengol Cabrales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Leoiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermengol Cabrales, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Armando Florin fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Equipo's protests and gave Armando Florin a yellow card for diving instead. Orlando Leoiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 36th minute of play. The corner led CD Municipal's Aldomiro Urioste to fire away a dangerous shot which Orlando Leoiar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 41st minute Ezequiel Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sagrario Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Equipo defense, Patricio Tamajon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlando Leoiar. The Equipo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlando Leoiar should have stopped the shot. Orlando Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Camus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half CD Municipal were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Camus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orlando Leoiar, 1-3. In the 54th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepe Popeye to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Ermengol Cabrales kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Orlando Leoiar. That made the score 1-4 in the 58 minute of play. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ermengol Cabrales hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Tamajon got free with Orlando Leoiar in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Equipo's Armando Florin got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Armando Florin off the ground. Equipo's Orlando Leoiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Equipo from getting a goal against them. Orlando Leoiar was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Patricio Tamajon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
