In the 3rdth minute of the game Rigoberto Iratze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRUZ DEL SUR's Godofredo Mac Intyre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, CRUZ DEL SUR's Godofredo Mac Intyre got control of the ball when Rigoberto Iratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Les Tigres getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Higinio Laurin hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Ferrán Casas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Ostadar skillfully saved the ball. In the 16th minute, Ernesto Tabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's Ferrán Casas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Ostadar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romulo Lizar hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Aaron Zamorano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Ostadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aaron Zamorano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th match minute, CRUZ DEL SUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Podador Arraño to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes, Guillermo Tano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Tigres and the CRUZ DEL SUR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, CRUZ DEL SUR's José Ignacio Berguecio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Ostadar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Godofredo Mac Intyre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Iratze in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Ignacio Berguecio to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Tohias. If Aaron Zamorano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Ivan Tohias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 61st minute Rigoberto Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Mac Intyre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Faraggi in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Ostadar saved Les Tigres from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Faraggi in the 82nd minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Martin Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Rigoberto Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Mac Intyre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Mac Intyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Iratze in the 91st minute of play. Victor Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Mac Intyre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Steven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CRUZ DEL SUR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
