YerBaTerOs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Avaria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in YerBaTerOs's zone, Jeronimo Avaria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Sotilla came out of the goal and Jeronimo Avaria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacio Sotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Luis Fontaine's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Amato Gebauer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capo de Provincia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YerBaTerOs the free kick. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Amato Gebauer hit a great ball. Ceandro Zumaeta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tercero Toria. In the 25th minute Cosme Amorini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Sotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hidalgo Babiano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 35th playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hidalgo Babiano in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceandro Zumaeta saved Capo de Provincia from getting behind. After 42 minutes, Juan Luis Fontaine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capo de Provincia and the YerBaTerOs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Capo de Provincia got a freekick which was hit by Juan Luis Fontaine. Ignacio Sotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Avaria in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute Cosme Amorini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Sotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Avaria made a kick off. Zenon Santin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceandro Zumaeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Ceandro Zumaeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hidalgo Babiano in the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
