Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grant McKay in the 4th minute of play forced East Moriches AFC's goalkeeper Garrett Horne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Donovan Heath made a precise shot to the right of Garrett Horne. East Moriches AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Federico Maia notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of East Moriches AFC's Garrett Horne. Garrett Horne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Patrick Fontenot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garrett Horne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Fontenot, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes East Moriches AFC got a freekick which was hit by Douglass Dyer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Fontenot in the 20th minute of play forced East Moriches AFC's goalkeeper Garrett Horne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Patrick Fontenot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The East Moriches AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garrett Horne should have stopped the shot. Garrett Horne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Maia in the 39th minute of the match. East Moriches AFC's Garrett Horne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Fontenot in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Federico Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the East Moriches AFC defense, Patrick Fontenot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garrett Horne. The East Moriches AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garrett Horne should have stopped the shot. East Moriches AFC's Garrett Horne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Maia in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Keith Steward made the kick off in the second half. Patrick Fontenot really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 74 minutes into the match, East Moriches AFC's goalkeeper Garrett Horne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grant McKay. Garrett Horne came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's Harvey Flynn. But to his dismay, Harvey Flynn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Federico Maia scored 0-11 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garrett Horne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Federico Maia in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Garrett Horne. That made the score 0-12 after 91 minutes of play. Cosmos Soccer Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
