A collision led to Brannik getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Pat Holcomb hit a great ball. Brannik's Robert Bambas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Colmenares in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Oihan Onis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Brannik's Robert Bambas. Robert Bambas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With 17 minutes on the clock, Pat Holcomb commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After recieving a nice pass, Programayin's Santo Careaga tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Colmenares in the 20th minute of play forced Brannik's goalkeeper Robert Bambas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Loyd during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Brannik got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Loyd. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Careaga in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Bambas saved Brannik from getting behind. Inacio Bettencourt was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Norbert Loyd capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Norbert Loyd really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Robert Bambas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.
