A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Moreta Vadillos with Checa Lloreda as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Bolaños was the one to do the kick off. If Ugaitz Camara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Texeira Magdalena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes UD ZAS got a freekick which was hit by Ugaitz Camara. 80 minutes into the match, Angelo Elvira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela. Rey Cerezuela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute Blas Bolaños shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Cerezuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Bolaños in the 96th minute of play forced UD ZAS's goalkeeper Rey Cerezuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UD ZAS's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Club Dep. Soc. Rodo had won, even though UD ZAS had held more of the ball.
