Eneko Oyaga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jim Mitchell firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ladio Toria hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Quintero in the 23rd minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Jim Mitchell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Bucaramanga's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
