The coaching staff of Munat Tayka protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andres Abastas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 20th minute, one of Munat Tayka:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Munat Tayka. A collision led to Munat Tayka getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ruperto Abeitia hit a great ball. Ur Abenda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Salles having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Jânio Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mitxel Abella. 32 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's Mitxel Abella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jânio Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Munat Tayka getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Benat Abechuco hit a great ball. The supporters of Glorioso Deportivo Cali booed when Munat Tayka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benat Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 45 minutes on the clock, Hotz Apellaniz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Glorioso Deportivo Cali:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Munat Tayka:s goal. Glorioso Deportivo Cali:s Jânio Salles showed great skill when he stopped Rico Abad:s penalty. After 46 minutes of play, Munat Tayka's Rico Abad made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jânio Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mitxel Abella made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Candido Abendano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Munat Tayka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
