Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when William Álvarez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cresitobalo Abarca hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When Cordeara Abenda came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Nacional Potosí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cordeara Abenda couldn't finish the play. After 9 played minutes Liga de Quito got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Pacio. If Quirze Abello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Pando made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Álvarez in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Nacional Potosí's Papo Abalos got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Cruz Guia came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Liga de Quito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cruz Guia couldn't finish the play. Quirze Abello succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 22nd playminute. If William Álvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Pando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ángel Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Pando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ángel Ortiz in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nacional Potosí's Oinaz Abadie got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Liga de Quito got a freekick which was hit by Checa Cerezo. 41 minutes into the match, Liga de Quito's goalkeeper Tomas Pando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Álvarez. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ángel Ortiz put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Pando. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Mateo Cancel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Ángel Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Pando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Nacional Potosí's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Ibaute came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game William Álvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liga de Quito's Tomas Pando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Urbano Pacio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liga de Quito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional Potosí the free kick. In the 79th minute, Urbano Pacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Nacional Potosí's Cresitobalo Abarca got a free kick in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Ibaute. Tomas Pando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Ortiz in the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to Liga de Quito getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Nestor Ibaute hit a great ball. Liga de Quito's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
