Bairon Borja charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bairon Borja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Bairon Borja got a free kick in the 15th minute. Alexandre Marrodan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quirze Abello in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's goal looked a bit too open when Ángel Ortiz came free, but Alexandre Marrodan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Nacional Potosí's protests and gave Papo Abalos a yellow card for diving instead. Papo Abalos hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Darío Kirck made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Manuel Rodríguez 1186's zone, Cordeara Abenda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Marrodan came out of the goal and Cordeara Abenda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Alexandre Marrodan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Álvarez in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th minute, William Álvarez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexandre Marrodan. The goal made the score 0-3. Quirze Abello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alexandre Marrodan made a huge save. 78 minutes into the game, Quirze Abello recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Marrodan. Quirze Abello showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Nacional Potosí's William Álvarez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alexandre Marrodan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordeara Abenda in the 86th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Xabier Abaurre. William Álvarez took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Marrodan. Alexandre Marrodan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. When the match was over Nacional Potosí could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manuel Rodríguez 1186 throughout the match.
