Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tanio Lezaeta started the match with the kick off. Loco Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Halat came free, but Ferdi Top reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damario Ferrada hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ferdi Top made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Larrañaga in the 13th minute. In the 29th minute, Adolfo Halat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ferdi Top. The goal made the score 1-1. When Loco Alves fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DALO S.C.'s protests and gave Loco Alves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Talcampeón FC's Jose Maria Letelier got a free kick in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the game, Adolfo Halat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ferdi Top was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Manolo Uquillas got free with Carlos Alberto Villa in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Trespuentes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Alberto Villa having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jacinto Cross managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talcampeón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Cross was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdi Top breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Alberto Villa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo Uquillas in the 66th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Villa made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Peter Aceituno sent off a good shot on target. Ferdi Top made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Larrañaga in the 72nd minute of play. Jacinto Cross's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdi Top read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Tanio Lezaeta took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdi Top. Ferdi Top dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Aceituno during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Aceituno didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Halat came free, but Ferdi Top reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Norberto Trespuentes came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the DALO S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Trespuentes couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Talcampeón FC had played much better football throughout.
