Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Anacleto Eutor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magdaleno Abello in the 5th minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Gavino Endura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Empate the free kick. Xavon Abellaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo-Hernán Torrico came free, but Anacleto Eutor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Amador Abenda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anacleto Eutor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo-Hernán Torrico kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Xavon Abellaneda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Anacleto Eutor made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Abecia came free, but Anacleto Eutor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Abenda got free with Anacleto Eutor in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Geofredo was the one to do the kick off. Deportivo Empate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
