When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tanio Lezaeta sped through ALIANZA 1901's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pitin Baños. Bartolomé Rengifo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pitin Baños having to interfere. If Tanio Lezaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pitin Baños stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Larrañaga's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When Talcampeón FC's Tanio Lezaeta in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALIANZA 1901's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute Tanio Lezaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pitin Baños saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pitin Baños showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Cross in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Larrañaga in the 30th minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Pitin Baños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Castellvi. Pitin Baños showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomé Rengifo in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Tanio Lezaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pitin Baños saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pitin Baños took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Larrañaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Larrañaga in the 41st minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Pitin Baños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pitin Baños showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanio Lezaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Tanio Lezaeta came free, but Pitin Baños reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Gartzi Domingo made the kick off in the second half. Pitin Baños was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tanio Lezaeta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. With a little luck, ALIANZA 1901's Pitin Baños got control of the ball when Tanio Lezaeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apolo Larrañagas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Pitin Baños to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pitin Baños came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Talcampeón FC's Tanio Lezaeta. But to his dismay, Tanio Lezaeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tanio Lezaeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Pitin Baños made a huge save. Pitin Baños made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Tanio Lezaeta sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Cirilo Castellvi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Bartolomé Rengifo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pitin Baños. Bartolomé Rengifo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. With a little luck, ALIANZA 1901's Pitin Baños got control of the ball when Tanio Lezaeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pitin Baños showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Larrañaga in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Jacinto Cross cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Pitin Baños was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Talcampeón FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
