A collision led to Montevideo City Torque getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Betadur Medel hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes Atlético Nuevo Laredo got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Iraitz. Bizi Saludes charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bizi Saludes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manoel Loarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Eguzki in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Betadur Medel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Montevideo City Torque getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Zenaido Urtiaran hit a great ball. Manoel Loarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Almarza kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Tomás Tulio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manoel Loarte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Nuevo Laredo reached it. With a little luck, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero got control of the ball when Bizi Saludes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pau Covillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Javiero having to interfere. Tomás Tulio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 39th play minute Bizi Saludes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benicio Javiero. 2-0. Betadur Medel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Benicio Javiero made a huge save. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Nuevo Laredo from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Eguzki to strike the kick off in the second half. Roque Peli's late challenge caught a Montevideo City Torque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Peli helped the player get up and apologised. Roque Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Pau Covillas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Javiero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Nuevo Laredo's zone, Bizi Saludes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Javiero came out of the goal and Bizi Saludes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betadur Medel in the 63rd minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Benicio Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bizi Saludes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Bizi Saludes got a free kick in the 71st minute.
