Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Ramos Cuyar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Morin in the 2nd minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Eron Reguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Junior Stover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eron Reguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Penuel Football Club defense, Junior Stover kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eron Reguer. The Penuel Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eron Reguer should have stopped the shot. Junior Stover took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eron Reguer. Eron Reguer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin got control of the ball when Ramos Cuyar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Junior Stover's late challenge caught a Penuel Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Junior Stover helped the player get up and apologised. Junior Stover kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Bruce Morin notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Penuel Football Club's Eron Reguer. Eron Reguer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Mario Dostie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eron Reguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erich Stokes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jason Achin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramos Cuyar in the 23rd minute of play. In the 31st minute, Junior Stover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Achin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramos Cuyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jason Achin made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ramos Cuyar sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Qikiqtarjuaq FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Junior Stover was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Mielgo to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Eron Reguer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bruce Morin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eron Reguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Niceto Ovalle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jason Achin. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Ovalle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Ramos Cuyar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jason Achin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Munio Larrieta replaced Niceto Ovalle. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Aires Viña replaced Gaston Mielgo. Penuel Football Club's Iraunkor Borinaga was substituted for Veronica Vielva. 73 minutes into the game, Ramos Cuyar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Jason Achin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruce Morin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eron Reguer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Junior Stover in the 85th minute. If Jewel Coats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Iraunkor Borinaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-6. Jason Achin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Qikiqtarjuaq FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
