Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caleb Roberts took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flames FC's Cyril Cantrell got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San Antonio HotSPURS's attentive Nicky Patten managed to snatch the ball when Valère Flowers made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Beau Hinojosa's late challenge caught a San Antonio HotSPURS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beau Hinojosa helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Flames FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Antonio HotSPURS:s goal. Caleb Roberts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Donovan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Valère Flowers made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Orval Crow immediately put the ball in play. In the 20th minute of the match, Caleb Roberts got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tomas Donovan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrose Keen in the 24th minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Ulysses Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flames FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after San Antonio HotSPURS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Micheal Burnham took the corner. After taking down the ball on Flames FC's corner Micheal Burnham fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ulysses Reyes quite easily take care of the ball. Ulysses Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horace Vaughn, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Horace Vaughn took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulysses Reyes. Ulysses Reyes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 31 minutes, Caleb Roberts made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Flames FC's Tomas Donovan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35thth minute of the game Caleb Roberts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flames FC's Tomas Donovan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Donovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caleb Roberts in the 37th minute of play. San Antonio HotSPURS's Robert McCord quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valère Flowers, made in the 40th minute of the game. Flames FC were furious when Beau Hinojosa was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flames FC! Robert McCord placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orval Crow to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Stover in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Donovan saved Flames FC from getting behind. After 54 minutes Flames FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert McCord who took care of the corner kick. San Antonio HotSPURS's Robert McCord was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomas Donovan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. San Antonio HotSPURS's Emmitt Collier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kent Chesnay, made in the 61st minute of the game. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Flames FC's goalkeeper Tomas Donovan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Emmitt Collier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomas Donovan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Caleb Roberts came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the San Antonio HotSPURS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caleb Roberts couldn't finish the play. Flames FC's Tomas Donovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Stover in the 70th minute of play. Caleb Roberts might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Donovan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caleb Roberts ran back to his position shaking his head. San Antonio HotSPURS made a substitution. Kerry Yoshioka replaced Simon Stover. Ulysses Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orval Crow, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caleb Roberts came free, but Tomas Donovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
